Seriously, how can ANY team afford to have a LOW AVERAGE (less than .220), NO POWER (zero HR's) as their first baseman?

They sent down Kooz with his 3 or 4 HR's, so why wait any longer on Barton? Does anyone know what or how Carter is doing down at Sacramento? Or, do we have anyone (with SOME power) who can play first?

I'm not saying we give up quite yet, but why not try something else at this point?
