Interesting that no one here has commented on the Wash situation.

It struck me that Wash manages Josh Hamilton, whose struggles with recovery are so well known. Made me think that the Rangers could hardly discipline Wash while they employ Hamilton. I was surprised not to hear anyone mention this, but Israel Gutierrez talked about it this morning on The Sports Reporters (ESPN). Hard to believe that Wash, at age 57, could "try" cocaine after knowing what Hamilton went through.
