All You need to know is that SJ was the THIRD choice for the Sharks. If SF or Oakland came up with an arena plan,SJ would not have had a chance.

Great America is suing Santa Clara and SF over their 49r stadium plan. The Sharks will probably be very much in trouble for same reasons.

Who knows, if the A's, Forty Niners and Raiders move to Santa Clara, the Sharks may enjoy a competition free geographic center of the Bay Area at the much more luxurious Oracle Arena in Oakland.

Also, in my humble opinion a billion dollar stadium for the Forty Niners will never be built in Santa Clara. A shared stadium in Oakland with the raiders is the only way either team will ever get a new stadium.
