I wouldn't use this column as an example of Selig trying to kill the Oakland A's.

This writer seems to think that moving the A's to San Jose is a great idea and is the only way the A's will survive. He also blames Oakland fans and the Raiders for the recent poor attendance while conveniently forgetting that we were averaging over 26,000 fans per game just a few years ago in the same Coliseum. It's obvious that he's taken Lew Wolff's BS and ran with it.

Selig is definitely trying to kill the Oakland A's by either turning them into the "San Jose" A's like his good buddy Lew Wolff wants him to do, or have his good buddy sell them or contract them at a great profit. However, keeping them from going to San Jose is a great thing for the OAKLAND A's.
