Giambi's dot.bomb

A fashion Web site backed by Jason Giambi is striking out -- and the former Yankee wants his money back.

Giambi sank more than $1 million into Afingo.com, a combination social network and fashion retailer.

But the first baseman was duped by a tech guy who promised to deliver a top-notch site -- then failed to hit one out of the park, according to a lawsuit.

Vancouver businessman Moe Somani charged $184,000 for a substandard site that also launched months behind schedule in February, Giambi and his wife Kristian and partner Liza Deyrmenjian claim in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The Giambis and Deyrmenjian are suing Somani for $3 million in damages. Somani didn't return calls seeking comment.

Increasing one's steroid intake does not make one a good investor.

Saw Giambi here in Colorado last night - I scored some great seats next to the dugout. He looked really bored watching everyone else play. Not sure if it's sad or pathetic.
