why was what i said against what this site is? your battle is one thing but talking A's baseball is what keeps this site going , you need more people to view this site period and i hope this site is going long after the A's move to San Jose.

i know I know but lets get real they were gone yrs ago but i respect your fight, your fighting a world pwerhouse your not going to win but you keep on fighting good for you but its all about A's baseball and this is a good site for that.

if the inevitable happens in 1 or 2 yrs ore less most here will start folloing the A's again how can you not love the green n gold as long as there in no calif? lets get real things change and we might not like it but we must accept it and move on.

How do you know they're gone? If they were gone years ago then why are they still playing in Oakland and call themselves the OAKLAND A's? It really annoys me when people like you think they can predict the future. 2. selig wants A's out of Oakland

3. city of Oakland had no $$$$ and the most imcopetant leaders around San jose has the corp $$$

if you own a car or any property in the end your gonna do whatever you want if allowed with your OWN property and baseball will alllow the A's to relocate and Wolff is the owner not the fans or Oakland.

i know this is an emotional issue but its already done behind the scenes the powers who have control want it and wolff is intent on gettin them there.

why do you think there is a delay in the commish committe cause they are in negotiations with the Giants on releasing the territory and waiting for San jose to get its paperwork in order , i would love for the A's to stay in Oakland but lets be real about this ,an owner will move his club especially if it stays in same general area like bay area ,MLB will be 100% behind if it means more $$$ for all.

Again, I guess your magic 8 ball told you Selig is making a deal behind the scenes with the Giants when Neukom has made it VERY CLEAR THAT HIS TEAM WILL NOT BE BOUGHT OUT. And we've already known that Wolff owns the club and will do whatever he wants, except for maybe trying to relocate the team to Fremont just like he wanted to or even build all that housing he wanted to go along with it. And we've also already known that Selig has NEVER wanted baseball in Oakland, but you know what...they have been here for the last 42 years already.

The bottom line is know one knows anything at this point. Not even Selig. My guess is he's waiting for the November ballot in San Jose where it has to go to the vote and see what the people decide on before anything can happen. And the one thing we actually do know is a ballpark ballot in San Jose has never passed...not even after multiple attempts when it was for the Giants.

So why don't you stop being so damn negative posting crap on a site that's actually dedicated to the fans who believe our team will stay where they belong.

incompetence is the name of oakland politicians they couldnt get a pickel out of a jar let alone save the A's its over man!!! yes this site has been around for like 10 yrs but when the A's were somehow purchased through devious means by wolff the jig was up.

the A's unfortunalty are gone !!!! listen i hope im wrong but it would take a miricle for them to build in Okaland , new owners wolff will never build in Oakland.

I hardly post anything?? Go back and check the archives in the discussion forums if you don't think I hardly post anything buddy. And yes I do sit on my ASS most of the time when I'm SITTING in front of a computer while at home or at work. I'm not a freakin' troll so I don't need to being blogging and commenting every minute of the day so when I do "post" anything, I try and bring positive things that I believe that most people who do comment here would actually appreciate. I do have a life and yes I do have passion for the A's to stay in Oakland like the many other fans out there. I'm also a realist which is why I choose to speak when I have something to say that I feel is relevant...but right now like most everyone else I'm just waiting for an announcement before any type of shouting match begins with fans such as yourself. I mean what actual evidence do you have right now to back up your idea that the A's are already gone?

you dont have to have it in writing to see whats goin down, again an owner can do whatever he wants Al Davis won court deciions on that merrit and big bad Wolff will get his team to San Jose if this is what he truly wants.

MLB is an evil empire and like big corps is making decisions behind the scenes as we speak.

dont be blind to what has been happening last 5 yrs , my god wolff was handed ownership by baseball when there were other stronger groups wanting to keep the team in Oakland the jig was up then!!!!!!

baseball wants the A's out of Oakland it will happen u watch again i hope im wrong but the hard evidence is all around you just read the past 5 yrs of history and loook at all the evidence the ship is sinking in Oakland and MLB wants it to sink so does the owner = done deal!!

Unlike you, I do not blame the politicians...not even Brown (he did form a baseball committee with Bobb and Rios)...and I do not blame the
disfranchised fans who lost interest in the team...

I blame Selig and his minions... this site will continue to remind people what was done to keep this team where it belongs. The archives are there and it tells the story and is our testament.

So Sactodavey...sorry that we can't be more intertaining to you even though you find our site easy to read.

Wolff hasn't managed to get his way. Fremont neighbors stopped him from getting what many said was a sure thing. The economy is also a powerful obstacle, as can be the ballot box. He might not get 75% of MLB owners to agree to take San Jose territorial rights away from the Giants. Selig's retirement may come before he can get the OK to move the A's.... and Wolff isn't getting any younger.

It ain't over til it's over. You just can't predict what may happen.

The NFL has a different structure than MLB. Davis could do whatever the hell he wanted. Wolff can't move without approval of 3/4 of the other owners.
