Unfortunately, the media news group which owns the Oakland Tribune also owns the San Jose Mercury News. Any Editorial involving a new ballpark for the Oakland A's in the Oakland Tribune, might as well be coming from the San Jose Mercury News.

Unfortunately Oakland has no voice and the Media News Group will sell out Oakland in a heartbeat if they think they can get more advertising money with the A's in the South Bay.
