Keep the updates coming, Diamond Lil. Is Brown trying recreate his childhood by building this housing development that similar to SF's Forest Hill neighborhood where he grow up in. I just want to know.

Tonight will be the official retirement of Council Member Dick Spees from the City Council District 4.

There will be a reception prior to tonights' City Council meeting and I'll be there to personally thank the Council Member Spees, as an Oakland A's fan, for all his support in keeping the Oakland A's in Oakland.

Dick Spees will remain active and involved in working on issues in Oakland and serving on some boards and volunteering where he feels he can make a difference. Hopefully the Oakland A's will remain in his agenda.
