David Glass gives candid responses in an interview that will surely hurt his image in the eyes of Bud Selig. I'll bet his bed gets short sheeted at the next owners meeting!

New ballparks won't fix anything. The owners need to suck it up in 06 and hold out for a salary cap. Construct something that will create financial parity but still allow teams to overspend slightly. Make it beneficial to the lower salaried players that make up the vast majority of the union and you may get something done.

The last CBA was "baby steps" compared to the strides that need to be made.
