Just back from Papago Park and A'S Spring Training. Juan Cruz is the most impressive A so far. Three digit fastball and a wicked change-unhittable. Kiety is still a waste of roster space. Eric B. says he is ready for a MONSTER YEAR. I don't doubt him. Barton was working hard at 1st Base before he became sick. Never saw him working out as catcher. Ellis is back and looks strong. Ginter is in for a tussle. Bradford walked out of practice one day with a sore back. Never saw him again. Yabu looks good - followed around by an American translater. Don't know how this is going to work in real game situations. More Later--- I am really impressed with quantity of real talent I saw in Phoenix.

Thats good to know 3peat!!! I am stoked about Cruz! I have a feeling he will be one of our MVPs.

Crosby, Swischer, Chavez, Barton, Johnson... our offensive future looks very bright.

Did you get to see Seth Etherton work out at all? I think he might be the sleeper. Also, is Jeremy Brown there? Kurt Suzuki?

oc Saw Seth, Jeremy, and Suzuki there. Saw Seth pitch in the bull pen about 50 pitches. Did ok, but nothing like Juan.
