...and mentions he would like to be an anti-steroid crudsader. Not surprised - they did nothing for him.

While he did not specifically say his brother used steroids, Jeremy Giambi noted a news conference his brother had last month in New York during which he apologized profusely, but did not say why he was apologizing.
"If you don't know what he's apologizing for," Jeremy Giambi said, "you must've been in a coma for two years."

Ah, the Burger Brothers.
Jeremy might as well be an anti-steroid crusader. His baseball career is over.

Well, you have to have some natural talent to begin with, which steroids merely enhances. It's obvious, Jeremy should have chosen another career.
Maybe Jeremy's pot offset the steroids.

Remember Manny Alexander, Wilton Guerrero, and Marvin Bernard took steroids. Using steroids can't turn a player into a superstar on their own.

no, yc, but they made Alexender, Bernard, Jeremy Velarde, and many others into major leaguers when they should have been in AAA.
Only a couple mil difference in salary.

Yeh, I think it has been pretty much a foregone conclusion that Brady Anderson juiced. Hmmm. Maybe congress needs to include him in the list of players, too.

Biggest statistical anomoly-doubled what he had ever done previous.
I found an article that touches on it and tries to explain it...
I've heard it postulated he didn't slide because his arse was sore from a recent "treatment". Perhaps Frankie Menechino injected him in the bathroom stall of the clubhouse before games?

Maybe he lost some brain cells from the roids and that is why he didn't slide..............

I was going to comment on the Franke injection but thought better of it!
Not that there is anything wrong with that!

Ewww. The thought of having Frankie inject anything into another person grosses me out.

Ostler gives props to the Burger Brothers for their honesty.
"The Flying Giambi Brothers aren't likely to enlist much sympathy in the Bay Area, because Jason jilted the A's to live out his life-long Yankees fantasy, and Jeremy didn't slide.
But at least there are two people in all of this mess who don't make you cringe or laugh when they open their mouths."
"First active player out of the steroid closet."
Well, on the advice of his attorney, he's back in the closet:
