Still only 4 out and in 3rd place. Everyone else in AL West lost tonight too.

If the pitching holds steady, things are okay,
but if it goes south, things could get very ugly.
The A's should not be last in offense, but even
if the offense plays as expected this season, they will be a middle of the pack offense much
like last year.

Our saving grace right now is that the Angels offense is just as bad as ours. They've scored 2 runs in the last 29 innings! Even worse than the A's actually. Billy needs to get a bat, or fire Macha and get a manager that isn't okay with the status quo.

They are not ok.

If the A's lay an egg during this homestead against the Yanks and RedSox, I could see a lot changing.

Macha being fired and a whole bunch of call ups.

Since winning 5 out of 6 from the M's and ChiSox, the A's have scored 23 runs in 9 games and have gone 1-8

Could be looking at an 11 game losing streak.

It's clear these guys have given up on Macha and Macha has given up on them. Macha should have been in Ponsenos grill when Chavy got hosed on that called third. Bring on Wash as the interim!

Macha will NOT be fired. As much as I think he's a moron, this is NOT his fault. He's not doing a lot to help, but it's NOT his fault that the guys are just NOT hitting. OR if we string some runs together, the pitchers light themselves on fire on the mound....
