Curt Young cracks me up:

"Pitching coach Curt Young said his staff will not do nearly as much hitting in preparation for Interleague Play as it did last year, when weeks of BP by A's pitchers led to zero sacrifice bunts and zero hits.

"We're gonna go the other way this year and see how that works out," Young said. "Maybe less is more."

Maybe the whole team should stop taking batting practice. It's not working very well.

Maybe they should take Viagra.....wait that has not helped Raffy that much.

Raffy should have been on Cialis.

Actually, there is an argument for less batting practice : Sometimes you are in a funk and your swing/timing is off. If you swing more, you are just going to ingrain bad swing habits.

You're thinking of swinging the wrong kind of wood.

If you know a man who can hit a 100 mph fastball with the Viagra-enhanced type of wood without wincing with pain, I would like to meet him. :)

Good luck, but watch out for the pine tar.
