Anyone hear who is being sent down or DLed?

Ginter just crushed the ball in Sacramento. Two homers last night. The guy can definitely hit AAA fastballs.

Uh oh this could mean Crosby is going back on the DL.

Other possibility is they've sent down Watson again and calling up Ginter would allow Crosby to DH for the time being.

Crosby to DH, that would mean either Hatteburg or DJ will sit. If the A's want to trade Hatteburg, wouldn't you want to showcase him even more the next few weeks.

Ginter has a good bat, the guy hit 19 hrs in very little at bats last year. Yes you can say he did it at a batter friendly park but a 2B who can potentially hit close to 20-25 hrs in a season doesn't come around all the time. Ginter is a hack with the glove but maybe with a year working with Washington, he can be a solid defensive 2B.

I dig what Scutaro and Ellis can bring to the A's but on potential alone, the A's need offense at every position in this lineup and if Ginter is the best offensive option the A's have at 2B, I say give him the starting job for a few weeks and lets see what he can do when he gets know that he's the full time starter

Except for Chavez and Kendall, no one on this team is being allowed to struggle for more than 3 games before being benched. If Ginter doesn't hit ASAP, he'll be on the bench again before the weekend.

Turns out Watson was sent down. Sure seems like a surplus of middle IF's. Is there more to this??

Is Beane getting ready to trade a middle IF?

Chavez is DHing tonight and Ginter starts at 3rd. That's not encourging if Chavez is hurt because I couldn't see any other reason why they would have him DH.

And apparantly Chavez's right shoulder has been bothering him. Just great.

Bothering him for years apparently - what a shit.

Years? Stupid ass.

Somebody has to get traded here shortly.
