Dave came to see me at Kincaids after handing out a award to Chavy toinght. We talked about Huston and Dave said Street got better stuff than Eck!

nice praise. Saw Dave on the field. Maybe later in his life, he can come back to us in some capacity.

The next time A's fans should see him is when a new park is built and he's the first guy to throw the opening pitch along with a group of key A's figures.

His #34 needs to be retired too!

Maybe Stew's #34 will get retired sooner than a new park being built but if optimisically timeframe if a park is built, most likely it'll be open around 2008 or 2009 which would be perfect with the 20 year anniversary with the 89 world series celebration. What a way to stick it to SF, get our new park the year we celebrate the year we beat their ass to win our 4th world title.

Go A's!

Did anyone else think it was weird that Eric Chavez won the Dave Stewart Award, when Stewart is Chavez' agent?
