Five straight losses. Is there hope for next season? I think the A's will continue to struggle, for at least another year.

So, let the off-season begin!

I have to agree with you. I don't think what the A's have right now will be contending in 2009. However, you never know what kinds of trades might take place.

Congrats to Joe Blanton! He pitched a gem when it really counted.

Would have loved to see Harden win his game yesterday, but the Cubs looked totally flat.

Now I'm hoping the Angels can come back against the Red Sux, but it's not looking good.

Did anyone hear bleacher dave on knbr tonight with razor and mr t?

What a horse's ass this guy is!

Comes across as a guy thinking he's way too cool and smug about the a's - and trashes the angels who finished a bit higher than the a's ... Nice credibility, loser.

Finishes off his rant by taking a stab at the Giants of course and implies they'd trade for street - what a dork this guy is!

Dave is the man (and a one time consistent contributor to the OAFC board). His baseball insight is usually spot on, and he is a die hard.
